Fred Petryk started his business in Cranberry Portage in 1934. A small town, a small sawmill, and a commitment to producing lumber for Northern Manitoba. What began with one man would grow through three generations of the Petryk family, becoming a trusted supplier to industries across the North.
As the business passed to the next generation, Michael and Rick Petryk built on the foundation their father created. Through hard work, investment, and a commitment to quality, they grew the company into a trusted supplier serving customers across Northern Manitoba. Over the years, Greg, Kevin, and Chris Petryk each played a role in the family business. When the time came for the next chapter, Greg took over from his father Michael, continuing the Petryk tradition as the third generation to lead the company.
Today, the third generation is leading the company into its next chapter. With modern manufacturing equipment, improved production capabilities, and faster turnaround times, Greg’s Manufacturing continues to support the industries and communities that help drive the North forward.
